I want to create a dataframe from the databricks SQL code given below. But I need to write it in Pyspark. What will be the Pyspark code for this?
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW monthview
AS
SELECT last_day(add_months(current_date(),-1))
We can use df.createOrReplaceTempView. If you prefer to create the view using SQL syntax. Then you can do it like the one given below:
sql("select last_day(add_months(current_date(),-1)) as last_date").createOrReplaceTempView("monthview") sql("select * from monthview").show()
