How to restart NameNode and all Daemons in Hadoop?

    Stop the NameNode using this command:

    $HADOOP_HOME/bin/stop.dfs.sh 
$HADOOP_HOME/bin/hadoop-daemon.sh stop namenode

    Then you can start the NameNode using this command:

    $HADOOP_HOME/bin/start.dfs.sh 
$HADOOP_HOME/bin/hadoop-daemon.sh start namenode

    Stop all Daemon using the command:

    $HADOOP_HOME/bin/stop.all.sh

    Then start all Daemon using the command:

    $HADOOP_HOME/bin/start.all.sh
